There is this site called Pandora.com and it is pretty much your own radio station, for free, and without signing up. You type in a name of a song or an artist and then you can listen to music by that artist and other songs that are pretty much the same. On it you can also rate songs and if you rate one song really bad, then they won’t ever play it again for you. Good luck! Also, if you do go on Pandora.com, look up the Vitamin C Quartet, they are a classical group where they take ordinary pop/hip hop/ whatever songs and make them into classical music.

    Thank you very much,

    There’s another website called musicovery.com
It’s really cool check it out, you put in what genre and what mood of music you want, and it picks songs for you.

There is a place called C/Net Download.com, where you can download trials (or complete) programs, software and security software without spyware or adware. The also have a section dedicated to free music, and one of its genres is Classical music.

The UK classical music stations, and., both stream their programmes live. I also had a link to some free download sites - but it is bookmarked on my Firefox browswer which I can’t open for some reason:( However, the sites listed weren’t very interesting, altho I did get a free set of Bach’s Brandenburgs via Czech Radio). There was also a link to an old record label which was allowing downloads of its back (mainly baroque) catalogue, but the last time I looked they had started charging.

Unfortunately, by and large in this world you get owt for nowt (as the old Yorkshire saying has it) - and remember musicians and composers have to eat as well as you and I and are therefore, entitled to be payed for their labours.
